Lead-in-Paint

The effects of lead poisoning can be devastating. Lead based paints in houses, built before 1970, still lurk in windows, mini-blinds, walls, railings, etc. and recent studies show that lead is dangerous at much lower levels than previously believed.

  • Lead-in-Paint Testing for lead contamination in paint, detecting the presence of lead to as little as 5 ppm. This test allows home inspectors to sample for lead-based paint using an environmental consulting industry standard sampling method, which  provides excellent analytical data results and which follows the same method utilized by environmental consultants during the performance of a lead-based paint survey, but at a fraction of the cost.

This test is a quick and easy method, which will alert you to the fact that corrective measures may be required and that further, more definitive testing is necessary. Results can be obtained in a few seconds. This lead in paint sampling test is fast, certified to be accurate and well worth the investment to protect your family.

If lead in paint test results are positive, we recommend that you contact a qualified lead reduction contractor about lowering the lead level in your home.

  • Lead Sampling for lead contamination in a building, detecting the presence of lead to as little as 5 ppm.

  • Lead-in-Water test screens your water for dangerous levels of lead. It detects quickly and accurately harmful lead levels above EPA standards 15 ppb (parts per billion) in three easy steps.

It is best to check every faucet.
